sSunday Morning Worship with Living Word Lutheran Church

Go and Live the Word

With these words each week, the Living Word Christian Community closes its worship service, as members prepare to go back out into the world. These words connect our Sunday lives and our Monday lives. These words remind us who we are and Whose we are. Or put another way, Jesus Christ who is The Word, lives in us and through us. We represent Him in the world He came to save.

We invite you to join us for Sunday services, with lively worship and warm Christian fellowship.  Come and share our learning of the Word and know its impact on your life

Lead Pastor Rev. Dr. David Denzer

Reverend David Denzer received his Master of Divinity in pastoral ministry from Luther Northwestern Seminary in St. Paul, Minn, and he earned his Doctor of Ministry in organizational leadership from Bethel University, St. Paul, Minn.  Revered Denzer has moved to rogers from Canton, Mich. where he served as lead pastor at St. Michael Lutheran Church for the past 11 1/2 years.  He has also served at Morningside Lutheran in Sioux City, Iowa, and St. Stephens Lutheran in Northglenn, Colo.  His vision centers on church health and growth in the context of joy, fun and purpose.

We embrace the four core values of the NALC

We are a church centered on the unique Gospel of Jesus Christ, animated by missions and evangelism, grounded in the 2,000 year tradition of Christian faith, and organized chiefly to serve our congregations. Living Word Lutheran Church is a member of both the North American Lutheran Church and Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ.

CHRIST-CENTERED

We believe in Jesus Christ as taught in the Bible, considering it the ultimate authority for judging all doctrines. We also accept the ecumenical creeds and Lutheran Confessions as genuine expressions of God’s Word.

MISSION-DRIVEN

We believe that the mission of the Church is to preach the Gospel and to make disciples for Christ. We believe that making disciples — locally and globally— must be a priority of the Church in the present age.

TRADITIONALLY-GROUNDED

We stand by the ancient creeds and traditions of the Church, following practices rooted in Scripture like ministry and worship, and we strive for unity and collaboration with other Lutheran and Christian groups.

CONGREGATIONALLY-FOCUSED

We strive to be a church that is organized to facilitate the ministries of local congregations in a posture of servant-hood and a spirit of partnership, through the provision of resources, connections and information.
